Australian Orders

Processing and Dispatch

Toy Central aims to dispatch in-stock orders within one business day after payment has been received.

Express Post orders placed and paid before 11:00am, Monday to Friday, are prioritised for same-business-day dispatch.

Orders placed after 11:00am, on weekends or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

During peak periods, including Christmas and major promotional events, processing times may be slightly longer. Express Post orders will continue to receive priority.

Pre-order, special-order and back-order products will be dispatched according to the estimated availability stated on the product page or order confirmation.

Please note: Dispatch time refers to the time required for us to prepare and lodge your order. It does not include the delivery carrier’s transit time.

Express Post

Express Post is a priority delivery service. However, selecting Express Post does not guarantee next-business-day delivery to every destination.

Delivery timeframes depend on the destination, the carrier’s delivery network and circumstances outside our control.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.

Rates are based on factors including:

  • Delivery destination
  • Selected delivery service
  • Parcel weight
  • Parcel dimensions
  • Carrier surcharges
  • Applicable packaging or handling costs

Australia Post may calculate postage using the greater of the parcel’s actual weight or cubic weight. Large or bulky boxed products may therefore cost more to ship, even when the products themselves are relatively light.

Combined shipping is calculated automatically at checkout where products can be safely packed and shipped together. Some oversized or bulky products may not be eligible for combined shipping.

Tracking and Delivery

All Australian deliveries include tracking.

Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to the email address provided with your order.

Customers using the Shop App may also receive tracking and delivery notifications through the app.

Tracking updates and estimated delivery dates are provided by the delivery carrier. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, service disruptions, peak periods and other circumstances outside our control.

Please contact us if your tracking information has not updated for an unreasonable period or if you believe your parcel may be delayed or lost.


Returned and Unclaimed Parcels

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for collecting their parcel within the timeframe specified by the delivery carrier.

If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to collect, refusal of delivery or another delivery issue outside our control, we will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the details provided with the order.

If the customer requests redelivery, they will be responsible for:

  • Any return-to-sender or return freight fee charged to us by the delivery carrier
  • The new delivery charge

The original delivery charge is non-refundable when a parcel is returned for reasons outside our control.

If the customer does not respond within 180 days of our first contact attempt, we may issue a final notice to the email address provided with the order.

If the customer still does not respond, we may, subject to applicable law, cancel the order and return the products to available stock.

Any refundable balance will be calculated from the product price after deducting:

  • Any return-to-sender or return freight fee actually charged by the delivery carrier
  • Any other actual and reasonable carrier costs directly resulting from the returned parcel

The original delivery charge will not be refunded.

We will attempt to return any refundable balance to the original payment method. If this is not possible, the remaining amount will be recorded, held and managed in accordance with applicable Australian laws.

If a parcel is returned because of an error made by us, we will arrange redelivery or provide an appropriate refund at no additional cost to the customer.


Click & Collect

Warehouse pickup may be selected at checkout where available.

Once your order has been prepared, you will receive a Ready for Pickup notification.

Pickup is by prior appointment only. After receiving the notification, please email hello@toycentral.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • Your preferred collection date
  • Your preferred collection time

Please wait until we have confirmed your collection appointment by email before travelling to the warehouse.

Weekend collection may be available by prior arrangement. All collection dates and times are subject to availability and must be confirmed by us.

Please note: This location is a warehouse only and does not operate as a retail showroom. Product browsing and purchases at the warehouse are not available.


International Orders

We currently ship to:

  • New Zealand
  • United States
  • Canada
  • Singapore
  • Japan

International shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.

All international deliveries include tracking.

Delivery estimates vary by destination and do not include delays caused by customs clearance, local postal services or circumstances outside our control.

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges or processing fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless these charges have been collected at checkout or otherwise stated, they are the responsibility of the recipient. Toy Central does not control these charges or determine the amount payable.

If an international parcel is refused, unclaimed or returned because applicable duties or charges were not paid:

  • The original shipping charge will not be refunded.
  • Return freight charges and other actual carrier costs may be deducted from the refundable product value.

Customers are responsible for confirming that the products ordered can legally be imported into their destination country.
